Lesley Titcomb CBE

Lesley has a portfolio of appointments.  She is Chair of the Market Harborough Building Society; Chair of Trustees at StepChange the UK’s leading debt advice charity; an Independent Non-Executive Director at Pay.UK (the operator of BACS and Faster Payments) and a Governor and Chair of the People and Culture Committee at the University of Hertfordshire.  Previous non-executive roles included Chair of the Audit Committee at the National Bank of Kuwait (international).

Lesley is a qualified Chartered Accountant and in her executive career worked for over 25 years in financial services regulation at the Financial Conduct Authority and its predecessors.  She served as its Chief Operating Officer from 2010 to 2015 and before that was Director of Small Firm Supervision and Mortgage Sector Lead.  She then joined The Pensions Regulator as its Chief Executive from 2015-2019.  She was made a CBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours in 2019 for services to pensions regulation.
