Helen Mahy CBE
Chair at The Renewables Infrastructure Group and Non-Executive Director at SSE
Helen is a respected Chair and Non-Executive Director. She currently holds two directorships in the energy sector, as Chair at The Renewables Infrastructure Group and a Non-Executive Director at SSE. In addition, she is currently Non-Executive Independent Chairman of the Board at Wallmine and a Non-Executive director of the law firm Gowling WLG. Previously, she was a NED at SVG Capital, Stagecoach Group, Aga Rangemaster Group, Primary Health Properties, Bonheur ASA and she was also Chairman of MedicX Fund. Helen is a strong advocate for inclusion and diversity: she is an Equality and Human Rights Commissioner, a member of the steering committee for the Parker Review into the Ethnic Diversity of UK Boards and she co-chairs the Employers Social Mobility Alliance. She was awarded a CBE in 2015 for her contributions relating to diversity in the workplace.
