School for CEOs prepare business leaders for senior roles - purposefully, pragmatically and personally. We do this by discussing the unique insights of our Faculty of over 90 senior leaders at our programmes, who share their personal experiences and challenges as CEOs, Non-Executive Directors and Chairs.

This podcast is designed to share some of those stories with you, inviting a diverse range of speakers from CEOs of some of the UK's most successful businesses, to elite sportspeople and military leaders.

Episodes are released on the first Monday of each month. Earlier episodes have featured School for CEOs Managing Partner, David Sole, Faculty members Craig Donaldson, Shaun Kingsbury CBE and Rosemary McGinness, Inclusion & Diversity specialist Sue Pascoe, former Royal Marines Officers Peter MacDonald and Martin Smith CB MBE, Scottish Rugby legend Doddie Weir OBE, Chef Proprietor Tom Kitchin and Olympic prospect Katherine Douglas. Today we are delighted to share our tenth episode featuring Dr Helen Rippon, CEO or Worldwide Cancer Research.

This episode shares the story of a scientist who became a Chief Executive, almost accidentally. Dr Helen Rippon leads Worldwide Cancer Research, a Scottish charity established to provide grants to fund innovative and ground-breaking research initiatives to combat cancer. The interview explores the transition from the lab to the boardroom and uncovers the pioneering spirit that makes up the DNA of the organisation and its culture.

Find out more about the Worldwide Cancer Research on their website.
