Peter was CEO at Leeds Building Society for over seven years, stepping down in early 2019, having joined the business as General Manager in 2001. During his time as CEO assets doubled, profits trebled, and the Society became a Sunday Times top 100 Best Company to work for. Since leaving Leeds Building Society, Peter has developed a portfolio career and is currently Chair of Mortgage Brain, a Non-Executive Director at Pepper Money UK and also Pure Retirement. Previously he was also Chair of the Council of Mortgage Lenders and a Board Member of UK Finance
