Second School for CEOs programme scores very highly

The delegates attending the second two-day residential Vital Few programme have evaluated the programme very highly. The programme was run by the School for CEOs where aspiring and CEOs learn from experienced business leaders. Co-Founder of the School, David Sole, business coach and former international rugby captain, said “I’m delighted that the delegates have rated our second programme so strongly.”
The delegates came from a range of businesses including quoted multinationals, privately held companies and partnerships. In addition, The School for CEOs Foundation awarded a scholarship to the Chief Executive of a leading children’s charity.
The second programme was taught by an array of accomplished businesspeople . The School’s Faculty is listed at www.schoolforceos.com/faculty/. In addition, Chris Cowdrey, the former England Cricket Captain, spoke at the delegate dinner about his experiences as a leader in the public eye.
Each delegate will also receive a one-on-one coaching session to help embed and develop the learnings from the programme.
Like the previous programme, held in September 2012, the May programme was valued highly by the delegates. Both the speakers and programme sessions achieved a score of 89%. Communications with the School were given an unbeatable 100% score while the venue scored 93%. Overall, the programme scored an 86% ‘excellent’ rating.

Naturally, the delegates also highlighted some areas for improvement including more time with a couple of the speakers – and a desire continue on to a longer programme!

It was founded in 2011 by: Patrick Macdonald, Chairman of Reconomy, CEO of Dalestone Energy and former Chief Executive of John Menzies plc; and David Sole, business coach and former international rugby captain. The next programme will take place in London on 9/10 October 2013. The 2-day residential programme will be taught by practitioners: current and former business leaders. It aims to provide senior businessmen and women with the tools they need to become and remain successful CEOs.
