29 October 2014
Once again, delegates have scored executive leadership programme Vital Few very highly with an outstanding overall ‘excellent’ rating of 92% and an exceptional Net Promoter Score (NPS) of +80. The programme was run by the School for CEOs, where aspiring and current CEOs learn from experienced business leaders, over a 2-day period in October 2014.
Reflecting on the two days, David Sole OBE, business coach and former international rugby captain, commented, “This particular group of delegates came from very diverse backgrounds, creating a richness and depth of discussion.” The School for CEOs co-founder and his team will continue to support the Alumni with a one-on-one coaching session, consolidating the learning from this fifth Vital Few programme.
A number of accomplished business leaders, hand-picked from the School for CEOs Faculty, delivered interactive and insightful sessions on their areas of expertise, receiving an ‘excellent’ rating of 88%. Will Carling OBE, former England Rugby captain, joined the group for dinner for a lively discussion on team leadership and selection.
Based in central London, the 2-day residential course received great feedback regarding the venue, including a 100% score for service and an overall rating of 96%. Delegates also commented on the delivery of the programme and its content:
- “Absolutely brilliant - thank you. It was a real privilege to be able to hear about the experiences of some of the speakers”
- “Have really enjoyed the two days and particularly enjoyed meeting new people from different industries”
- “Quite intense & full-on, but first class”
- “Interaction of sports & business leaders added value”
- “Really fantastic, thank you”
School for CEOs co-founder Patrick Macdonald, Chairman of Reconomy and former Chief Executive of John Menzies plc, added that he was “delighted to see the Vital Few programme consistently score so highly. Our extensive research and detailed feedback from delegates has allowed us to develop a programme that truly delivers the training a business leader needs to become a successful CEO. I’m really excited as we now look towards our brand-new one-day Runway programme, launching 11 November.”
Notes for editors: The School for CEOs is a new approach to senior executive education. It was founded in 2011 by: Patrick Macdonald, Chairman of Reconomy and former Chief Executive of John Menzies plc; and David Sole, business coach and former international rugby captain. The next 2-day residential Vital Few programme will take place on 18/19 March 2015. The first 1-day non-residential Runway programme will take place on 11 November 2014. Both programmes are taught in London by accomplished business leaders and expert practitioners, and aim to provide senior businessmen and women with the tools they need to be successful leaders.
