School for CEOs runs first in-house programme
2 June 2016
School for CEOs has received strong evaluations from their latest executive leadership programmes, including one-day Runway which was delivered in-house for the first time.
The School for CEOs delivers open programmes, which benefit from the insight of experienced business leaders and expert practitioners across a range of industries and sectors. The programmes are receiving consistently strong evaluations (the most recent Vital Few programme received a Net Promoter Score of 81+ and the latest Runway score 80+).
Former Scottish Rugby captain and School for CEOs Co-founder, David Sole, said: “it has been a fantastic few months for the School. We have just delivered 4 very successful programmes in the last 3 months, welcoming 63 new alumni to our growing network of talented executives. We also ran our first open Runway programme in Edinburgh, and were delighted with the Capital's appetite for development.”
Not yet halfway through 2016, School for CEOs has equalled the number of executive leadership programmes they delivered last year. One of these programmes was delivered in-house to Brakes Group. For Colin Daniel, Commercial Director at School for CEOs: “the Runway programme is incredibly flexible, centred around our 5-Dimensional Management™ framework. We are able to customise our Self Assessment tool and create a bespoke product for the client organisation. It has been fantastic to be involved with Brakes Group as they develop their future leaders.”
Alison Townson, Leadership Development and Talent Director at Brakes Group, said: “We were thrilled to use the Runway programme as part of a two-day event that kicked off our Top Talent Programme. Runway set the scene for the programme, helping our leaders reflect on their leadership and management qualities and to shape a 3-5 year development plan.”
Notes to editors:
The School for CEOs is a new concept in senior executive education. It was founded in 2011 by: Patrick Macdonald, Interim CEO and Chairman of Inenco, Chairman of Reconomy and former Chief Executive of John Menzies plc; and David Sole, business coach and former international rugby captain. The next School for CEOs programme is the 1-day non-residential Runway programme on 15 September in London. The next Vital Few programme will take place in London on 12/13 October. The 2-day residential programme will be taught by practitioners: current and former business leaders. It aims to provide senior businessmen and women with the insights and experience they need to be successful in CEO and other senior leadership positions.
