School for CEOs reflect on busy period
1 June 2018
As we reach the halfway point of 2018, School for CEOs take stock on what has been a particularly busy period. Facilitating their first in-house all-female programme for a FTSE 100 organisation and receiving some of their best ever feedback on open Vital Few and Runway programmes are some of the highlights, as well as the latest Faculty recruit, Lena Wilson CBE, former CEO of Scottish Enterprise, and current Non-Executive Director at RBS, Intertek and Scottish Power renewables.
“It’s been a really positive year so far,” said David Sole OBE, Managing Partner for School for CEOs. “It’s particularly rewarding to see participants progress after the programmes, many of whom have already transitioned into new more senior roles. Much of this is due to the support and insights shared by our Faculty of business leaders and we are thrilled that Lena has agreed to support future programmes by sharing her leadership journey.”
For June Boyle, School for CEOs Programme Director: “working with Standard Life Aberdeen to support their women leaders was a real privilege. It’s fantastic that they are continuing to think about developing leaders in the midst of integration, and the levels of engagement and quality of conversations on the programme was exceptional.”
The School have 4 more open programmes before the end of the year. These include two mixed gender Runway programmes, running on 13/14 June and 21/22 November, an all-female Runway programme on 12/13 September and a Vital Few programme on 31 October and 1 November.
