First delegates sign up for School for CEOs
7 June 2012
The School for CEOs, a brand new concept in senior executive education, has signed up its first delegates. Co-Founder David Sole, business coach and former international rugby captain, said “I’m very pleased delegates to our first residential programme have already signed up. I’m really looking forward to working with our Faculty and delegates to help develop the next generation of business leaders.”
The first Vital Few programme takes place at Browns Hotel in London on 19/20 September 2012. An accomplished Faculty of experienced practitioners – leading businessmen and businesswomen – will help aspiring and current leaders become truly successful CEOs. The programme covers practical, real-world topics including Setting the Agenda, Managing Key Relationships, Understanding the Derailers, Selecting the Team, and Self Management. The School is guided by its distinguished Advisory Board, including David Reid (Chairman of Intertek and ex-Chairman of Tesco); Crawford Gillies (Chairman of Scottish Enterprise); Rosemary McGinness (Group HR Director of William Grant & Sons); Jonathan Warburton (Chairman of Warburtons); and Alex Wilson (former Group HR Director of BT). Confirmed Faculty delivering the programme include Peter Norris (Chairman of Virgin Group); Carol Leonard (Head of Board Practice at Inzito LLP); Mary Spillane (consultant in Business and Leadership Development); and Francis Salway (until recently CEO of Land Securities plc).
“I’m delighted at how quickly delegates are signing up to join the first programme” said Patrick Macdonald, Chairman of Reconomy and former CEO of John Menzies plc, a co-Founder of the School. “It’s really exciting to see this fantastic network of leading businessmen and businesswomen begin to develop.”
