First Faculty members for 1/2 May programme

The School for CEOs, where aspiring and CEOs are taught by experienced business leaders, has announced the first Faculty members for the next Vital Few programme in London on 1/2 May 2013. Delegates will be taught by, amongst others, Sir David Reid, Chairman of Intertek plc and former Chairman of Tesco plc; Ewan Pearson, Managing Director of GPB; Conrad Hills, Director of Norman Broadbent; and Mary Spillane, a leader in personal branding. Patrick Macdonald, Chairman of Reconomy, former CEO of John Menzies plc and a co-Founder of the School, said: “Building on the enormous success of our first programme last year, it’s great that once again we have a terrific lineup of accomplished Faculty members to teach the second programme.”

The residential programme covers vital topics for aspiring and current CEOs, including Understanding the Derailers, Managing Key Relationships and Setting the Agenda. The curriculum includes an individual coaching session, designed to reinforce and embed the learnings, delivered by the School for CEOs Coaching Panel.

The previous programme secured very high evaluations from the delegates, with comments such as:

Notes for editors: The School for CEOs is a new concept in senior executive education. It was founded by Patrick Macdonald, Chairman of Reconomy and former CEO of John Menzies plc, and David Sole, business coach and former international rugby captain, in 2011. The next programme will take place in central London on 1/2 May 2013. The 2-day residential programme will be taught by practitioners: current and former business leaders. It aims to provide senior businessmen and women with the awareness, insight and tools they need to become and remain successful CEOs.
