How do I apply for a programme?

To apply for a programme, go to the Contact page, select Admissions under enquiry type and complete the short form.

Where do I find more information?

Contact us via the Contact page, selecting the General Enquiry drop-down option if you require further information. We will respond to your enquiry as soon as possible.

What makes the School for CEOs different from leading business schools?

The fact that it is delivered by experienced practitioners. Teaching is derived from our proprietary research and the real life experiences of CEOs, Chairmen and expert advisors. A further important feature is the followup coaching support after the programme. Ongoing coaching and mentoring is also available. The aim is to achieve tangible results in every delegate’s business.

How long are the programmes?

The Vital Few programme runs over two days and is residential, based in central London. Runway is a one-day programme and is non-residential. Delegates and Faculty gather the night before Runway for a private dinner.

Do I have to enrol for all the programmes?

No. You can pick and choose your programmes, although we would recommend that you begin with the Runway programme, before moving onto the Vital Few programme. The Leadership Series offers the opportunity to focus on key performance and leadership topics.

The Faculty are not academics. How will they be able to teach?

The Faculty are all experienced business leaders and advisers. School for CEOs has a robust methodology for preparing relevant, effective and useful teaching materials. Working closely with our experienced Programme Director, June Boyle, each Faculty member develops their teaching module to deliver practical tools for immediate use.

How important is the network?

The Advisory Board, Faculty and delegates together form a vibrant network of senior businesspeople. A regular series of alumni events helps cement and develop the network.

What is the School for CEOs Foundation?

The School for CEOs Foundation has been developed to provide scholarships to candidates such as leaders of charities and other Non-Profit Organisations, broadening the availability of executive learning. To apply for a Foundation Scholarship on one of our programmes, click here and select Foundation Scholarships from the drop-down menu.

Is the School for CEOs international?

The School for CEOs is currently based in the UK and we have welcomed several international delegates onto our programmes. The School has ambitious plans to expand into Europe, the Middle East and North America over the coming years.

Where is the School for CEOs based?

The administration and head office is based in Edinburgh. Programmes take place in central London and Edinburgh.

How much do the programmes cost?

How long has the School for CEOs been established?

The School for CEOs was established in 2011. The next Vital Few programme takes place on 18 & 19 April 2018, the next Runway programme takes place on 28 February and 1 March 2018.  Click here to navigate to our Dates page.

What about programmes for those people at an earlier stage in their careers?

The Leadership Series focuses on key performance and leadership themes. These are available to individuals with senior leadership potential, or leaders who wish to refresh their thinking in these particular areas. The series is available as an open programme or as an in-house corporate programme.

How will the School for CEOs programmes fit in with my current Personal Development Plan?

Runway uses a self-assessment tool to help delegates identify key development areas. The programme also includes a session dedicated to building your personal development plan. A follow up one-on-one coaching session is included in the Runway and Vital Few programmes to help consolidate key learnings and shape Personal Development Plans.
